We are looking for a Middle+ AQA Engineer (Playwright & SQL Focused) to join our team and play a key role in modernizing a critical web application.
About the Project:
You'll be joining a pivotal project focused on modernizing and enhancing a core web application used by the claims business for efficient claim adjudication. This initiative involves transforming existing, complex business processes into streamlined new applications or significantly refining the current web platform and developing intuitive web portals.
Initially, assess existing test coverage and test strategy to align with evolving application workflows and new business requirements.
Design, develop, and implement robust automated test scenarios for new UI components and APIs.
Maintain and enhance our Test Automation Framework (TAF), leveraging Playwright (TypeScript, NodeJS).
Integrate automated tests seamlessly into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, primarily using Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain comprehensive end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure new features are designed and implemented with testability in mind.
Proactively identify gaps in existing quality processes and propose innovative improvements.
Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders through various channels (email, messengers, calls) in English.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of hands-on experience in AQA/Test Automation roles.
Strong test automation expertise, with a proven track record in building and maintaining robust Test Automation Frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
Proficiency in SQL for database testing, query validation, and understanding data structures.
Required familiarity with integrating automated testing within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, especially with Azure DevOps, to enhance development velocity and product quality.
Ability to define, collect, and analyze test metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness, and provide clear, actionable test reports to all stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and other key stakeholders.
