Our Interview Process

We believe in transparency. Every candidate follows the same clear steps, so you always know what's next.

Step 1: Verification (≈45 min)

  • Initial conversation with a recruiter.
  • Learn about Symfa, our projects, the role, tech stack, and team.
  • Discuss your background, motivation, English level, and contract setup.

Goal:Confirm basic alignment between candidate and role.

Feedback: Within 2 business days.

Step 2: Technical Interview (≈1 hour)

  • Led by a technical interviewer, with a recruiter present.
  • Covers your expertise level, past experience, and problem-solving approach.
  • May include live coding or technical case discussions.

Goal:Assess technical skills and depth of knowledge.

Feedback: Within 2 business days.

Step 3: Project Interview (if applicable, ≈1 hour)

  • With a Project or Delivery Manager, plus a recruiter.
  • Two focus areas: soft skills and cultural fit, plus a deep dive into the project.
  • Time to ask your own questions about the team, workflow, and expectations.

Goal:Ensure mutual fit between candidate and project team.

Feedback: Within 2 business days.

Step 4: Client Interview (≈1 hour)

  • Direct conversation with the project's client, with a recruiter present.
  • Usually focused on your experience and communication, sometimes technical questions.

Goal:Final confirmation from the client side.

Feedback: Timing depends on the client and may take longer than 2 business days.

  • Always join with your camera on - it's part of our process.
  • Be ready to talk about your projects, skills, and technologies.
  • Come prepared with questions about the team, the role, and the project.
  • Show your curiosity and openness - we value it highly.
  • Double-check that your interview invitation comes from a Symfa domain and is scheduled in Google Meet.
