Our German-based client provides shipping services to customers needing to transport temperature- and humidity-sensitive products.
Our customer serves hospitals and clinics, helping the facilities transport blood and life-saving drugs. The stuff must be transported in vacuum-insulated boxes at a specific temperature and humidity. To prevent damage and deliver orders safe and sound, the customer came up with the idea to implement special sensors tracking necessary indicators with set frequency and transferring them to an application.
The application backend was halfway through development, and the client searched for a reliable vendor to develop a frontend component. After examining our portfolio of HealthTech projects and logistics apps, they opted for Symfa.
The customer wanted to utilize a specific Leaflet.js library to work with OpenStreetMap, without using JavaScript directly in Angular. Given our frontend developer didn’t have previous experience with the library, he made additional tech research in order to cope with the issues with the graphs display successfully.
We developed the interface allowing users to track the data and configure specific indicators. When the parameters go beyond the set configurations, users receive warning alerts. The designed admin page displays statistics in charts and tables, showcases the vehicle’s location on the map, and suggests three user levels.

Symfa met its obligations in full and within the agreed-upon timelines despite the changing requirements during the project. The developed application helps track the indicators and take immediate measures to prevent the spoilage of drugs and biomaterial.
At this moment the project is complete. However, the client does not exclude the possibility of adding new functionality to the application and plans to involve Symfa to continue the development.
