Client and Business Goals

The client is an Australian company helping businesses and individuals book top-notch video conferencing facilities, meeting or training rooms, and workspaces in business centers across the globe. With their service being in high demand, they faced multiple issues maintaining their booking web solution, namely backend bugs, scalability and responsiveness of its front-end.

While selecting the contractor for the project to revamp the entire booking solution, the client assessed such criteria as custom software engineering proficiency, hands-on expertise in booking engines development, PropTech solutions and payment system integration. Symfa outran the competitors, and the client engaged us for the job.


The Symfa team was to follow a string of critical requirements:

  • Connect the user account to 750+ all major accounting, reporting, sales, marketing, social, or custom-built systems with ease.
  • Ensure responsiveness to exchange rate differentials given the services are provided worldwide.
  • Enable secure IP addresses and geolocation integration.
  • Consider timezone differentials.


What once started as UI redesign and bug fixing, transformed into full-cycle custom web app development project. Our team engineered a brand new web platform with an Angular front-end and ASP.NET back-end with the server hosted on Azure Cloud Services.
